Get to know my New Favorite Cleanser

107 is a Korean skincare brand that uses an all-natural vinegar and uses herbal Asian medicine formulations for their products. The vinegar is fermented and ages up to 30 years. The claim for the Chaga Jelly Low pH Cleanser is as follows: ” A gentle jelly cleanser with a low pH of 5.0, CHAGA JELLY helps leave skin clean and bright without stripping away natural oils. It’s an ideal cleanser for daily use, for all skin types.”

What does it do?

The cleanser has a pH level of 5.0 and therefore, it’s supposed to be very gentle on the skin and suitable for daily use. It can be used for every skin type and concern. You can either use it as second cleanser while double-cleansing or use it as first cleanser in the morning. It comes in a squeeze packaging, 120 ml for 22$.

How do I use it?

I use it as second cleanser during my evening routine, after cleansing my skin with an oil cleanser. A small pea-sized amount is enough to cleanse the whole face. The jelly texture feels nice on the skin and it doesn’t bubble up too much. The cleanser is easy to wash off and leaves the skin clean, calm and soft. There is no sign of irritation or dryness. It’s one of the best cleansers I have ever used!

Do I recommend?

Yes, I do recommend this cleanser to anyone who appreciates a gentle low pH cleanser with a jelly texture. It’s one of my favorite cleansers and makes double cleansing as gentle as possible while being effective and leaving the skin clean and soft. I don’t mind the slight physical exfoliaton as it glides right on and you don’t need to rub around to cleanse the skin. It’s suitable for everyday and I am planning to repurchase it.
