Why do I keep buying these products again?
Although there are so many skincare products to discover and it’s tempting to just keep testing, some products work so well for my skin, that I keep repurchasing them. Buying a product several times is a telling sign for a true favorite and in this blog post I’m going to share which products I repurchase the most. To keep the post as informative and yet short as possible, I’m going to summarize why I love the product in just one sentence! As reference: I have combination skin with PIH and struggle with hormonal acne. I’m going to sort the products according to the steps in the K-Beauty 10-step-skincare-routine, other than that they’re in no particular order.
Most Repurchased Cleansers

This cleanser is easily available at DM, affordable and has a travel-friendly size, all while performing effortlessly and effectively – a no-brainer for any skincare routine, that I like to use for double-cleansing.

The perfect companion for the colder months, as it’s nourishing and softens the skin, while helping to brighten the skin.
Most Repurchased Essence
1. COSRX 96 Snail Mucin Essence
The most effortless lightweight essence for soothing and hydrating the skin – it goes with any other products and works in any routine.
2. NIOD MMHC 2
As a very powerful multi-molecular hyaluronic acid, this is incredibly skin plumping and helps to erase fine lines, while still being elegantly lightweight – it’s worth every cent.
Most Repurchased Acids
Acids are a great way to chemically exfoliate your skin, here are my favorites:
1. COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
It comes in a generous size and helps to clear blackheads and to prevent heavier outbreaks, so it’s a loyal companion in my skincare routine.
2. The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid
This acid comes in a huge bottle, works effectively and gives your skin a nice glow “from within”.
3. The Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid + HA
Lactic Acid is an amazing ingredient for acneprone skin, as it helps to calm the skin and fight pigmentations, this particular one is affordable and doesn’t cause any irritations.
4. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid
A great nighttime moisturizer that helps to calm down the skin and any blemishes overnight.
Most Repurchased Spot Treatments
1. COSRX Centella Blemish Cream
Intended as spot treatment, but I have no issues slathering it on my problem areas generously as last step of my evening routine.
2. Hydrocolloid plasters from the drugstore
The hydrocolloid plasters from the medical aisle at the drugstore, it doesn’t have to be any particular brand, are great size-customizable pimple patches. They might not be the thinnest but for overnight or if you just stay at home, they’re a great affordable alternative.
Most Repurchased Lip Mask: Petitfee Oil Blossom Lip Mask
The lip mask melts easily onto the lips and provides long-lasting nourishment and moisture, so I like to use a thin layer even during the daytime.
Most Repurchased Wash-off-masks

Even after several years still the most effective clay mask for me, it doesn’t dry the skin out and yet helps to visibly clear blackheads and blemishes as well as control sebum production.
1. I’m From Honey Mask
A very nourishing and soothing mask for long masking sessions, it can get a little messy but the effect is worth it and as long as you just relax with it, it’ll be fine.

A gel-like cream that is perfect for hot summer nights, if you want to cool and calm your skin, as it helps to ease redness and irriations.
Most Repurchased Sunscreen: Missha All Around Safe Block Essence Sun SPF45 PA+++
The first sunscreen that convinced me that daily sun protection doesnt’t have to be exhausting and difficut to apply, because it layers well and doesn’t leave a whitecast (on light skin at least) or any sticky finish.
