Review: I’m From Fig Scrub Mask

vegan Scrub mask with black sugar and fig

The I’m From Fig Scrub Mask from the K-Beauty brand I’m From was kindly gifted to me. It’s part of the I’m From Fig Line.

What does it do?

The scrub mask contains 1.2% fig powder and black sugar to gently remove dead skin cells and smoothe the skin’s surface. You are supposed to apply it on clean skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water.

Here is a detailed list of the ingredients. The most intriguing ingredients are of course the fig powder and black sugar.

Full Ingredients

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sucrose, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate , Stearalkonium Hectorite, C13-15 Alkane, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Powder, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Meal, Fragrance(Parfum), Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Caprylyl Glycol, Caramel

How do I use it?

I prefer to use it as a body scrub, because I’m very cautious with physical scrubs on my face. I use it on damp skin and massage it in for a few minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. But I’ve also tried it on my face as recommended a few times and was very careful not to rub it on my skin. The exfoliants are small and don’t feel rough on the skin, but you still want to be careful.

The I’m From Fig Scrub Mask is effective and makes the skin feel smoother instantly. It’s not drying and not visibly irritating. The skin just feels soft and refreshed afterwards.

Do I recommend?

If you like a physical scrub, this is a great choice. I’ll continue to use this as a body scrub because that’s my personal preference. My favorite product from the I’m From Line is the I‘m From Fig Cleansing balm and I also like the I’m From Fig Boosting Essence.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Where to shop?

You can find it on Wishtrend or any other store that carries the I’m From brand.
